Burn Permit Application

    • Ensure area is free of all combustible and flammable materials. 
    • Avoid tree lines and power lines.
    • Do not burn tires or other man-made materials.
    • Do not burn on windy days or during burn bans.
    • Do not burn within 50 feet of any structure. 
    • Do not burn near streams or other natural water sources.
    • Do not use gasoline, diesel fuel and paper are the only permitted accelerants. 
    • Burning must be completed on the same day as started. 
    • FIRE MAY BE EXTINGUISHED BY FIRE DEPARTMENT IF A COMPLAINT IS RECEIVED.

  3. Is the pile located near a road or railroad tracks?*
  4. Is the area free of combustible or flammable material such as grass or leaves?*
  5. Is the pile located near a tree line or subdivision?*
  6. You may not burn any material until approved by the Fire Marshal. You will be contacted by the Fire Marshal for a required site inspection. If approved, a $50.00 fee must be paid before a permit will be issued.
